Arsenal left red-faced after rejecting £830k January deal for striker in brilliant form Juventus signed Randal Kolo Muani on loan from Nantes in January and the Frenchman has already scored five goals in just three Serie A matches for the Old Lady

Arsenal are ruing their decision to pass on a bargain £830,000 loan deal for Randal Kolo Muani, especially after Kai Havertz was ruled out for the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury.

The Frenchman, who moved to Juventus until the end of the season for an initial €1million fee, has already netted five goals in just three Serie A matches for the Italian giants.

The Gunners considered a move but decided they couldn't offer Kolo Muani the playing time he wanted - a situation that has since changed following injuries to Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli.

However, Juventus guaranteed him game time and are now benefiting from their budget-friendly loan agreement, which could rise to £4.75m if various performance-related add-ons are met
